Life Design Survey Results

In June 2005, Beyond, Inc., a national marketing research supplier, formally surveyed a significant number of Life Design graduates. The focus of their research was to assess satisfaction with the accomplishments that people have had that they consider a direct result of their participation in Life Design.

The survey was conducted over the internet and the results were submitted anonymously. Participants were asked to respond to a series of statements pertaining to specific areas of their lives since completing Life Design by indicating whether they "Agree Strongly", "Agree Somewhat", "Neither Agree Nor Disagree", "Disagree Somewhat", or "Disagree Strongly" with each of the statements.

The survey also included an open comment section where participants were invited to report on their experiences since having done Life Design.

97%	Agreed that they have greater clarity about what is important to do in their lives.
96%	Agreed that they have the confidence to be themselves and to do what they see is appropriate as opposed to just going along.
97%	Agreed that they are more at peace with their lives.
94%	Agreed that they are reliably addressing the circumstances of their lives in a way that is appropriate to who they are and their age and stage of life.
95%	Agreed that they have more power to accomplish what is important to them.

Life Design "gave me the reins" of my life that I thought I had, but really didn't. The control of one's life that comes from greater understanding and appreciation of one's strengths is invaluable and has allowed me to accomplish many things personally and professionally.

Extraordinary leap in my career with regard to creativity and responsibility.

Experiencing joy in parenting more frequently than frustration or fear.

I no longer experience anxiety with regard to money, instead I experience a trust in myself to earn and provide what I need. What I need isn't anywhere near what it used to be!

I am satisfied and have an experience of being fulfilled. What I find interesting about that is without the drama of the roller coaster, life seems very quiet, which before the course I would have interpreted as boring, and now I experience as being peaceful, loving and appreciative. What a wonderful place to live!

I'm not afraid to die.

It is not so much about what would not have gotten accomplished. It is about the way accomplishments done and the degree of fulfillment. What got done was what mattered. A lot didn't get done and that is perfect. What got done, got done well, with power and a peacefulness that others noticed. Many people have commented that I seem powerful to them while being more calm. My relationships in all parts of my life are richer.

I am living more consistent with life and my age/stage in life. I am more clear about what is and isn't mine to do in any given situation and life itself.

Life Design has allowed me a level of discernment in terms of where my particular talents, insights, gifts are best put to use and how to best position others for success.

In some ways knowing something of my own (strengths) allows me to champion that in others. I see this particularly true with children and family, but also in almost any setting I find myself in.

Life Design has enabled me to listen beneath the words, so to speak, for what people really care about even if the words don't on first blush seem consistent with that.

The most important thing is knowing what is mine to provide and what is not, that I have everything I need to fulfill my life, that I don't need to become someone else or to have the strengths and talents that I don't have. Thank you!

In one short year, I have given up on many of the things in life that aren't mine to do while developing a much greater clarity about what is mine to do. Consequently, I have been making choices that lead me to feel a sense of calm and peacefulness that I never experienced before life design.

I am deepening the level at which I participate in activities, finding joy in others, and appreciating so much more of what life has to offer. I wouldn't have been able to do all of this without the roadmap for my connection to life that comes from doing Life Design.

Realized that I was already unique and did not need to keep trying to be "different from the herd".

Have an ongoing relationship with my daughter that is so much better than either of us ever expected.

Gained the ability to not believe the things I heard in my own mind as the truth.

Found a pace to life that makes sense and brings peace of mind.
