Life requires your development. There is no way you can do a brilliant enough job at any stage of life to have whatever you resolve there carry you through the rest of it.

Life keeps making obsolete whatever you have already put together which means probably the best skill you could develop is skill at developing yourself.

Skill at having an answer doesn't work out over time because the answer eventually becomes obsolete, but skill at developing yourself to be congruent with what fulfills your life, that would likely be the most useful thing you can do over time.
