COMMUNICATION, CONNECTIVITY AND POWER
The Communication, Connectivity and Power program is designed to address fundamental issues underlying communication. In the program, we will investigate:
In our times, given advances in technology, people are able to connect via means of communication, both faster and easier. Yet people report a lack of community, and feel pressured by the fast pace and demands of life. We will explore ways to communicate and relate with others that create mutuality and a true sense of connection. This program will establish a new orientation among its participants toward the power of communication to cause connection, coordination, collaboration, and relationship. We will also investigate a model of communication that establishes mutuality in the face of diversity (men and women, parents and children, supervisors and their reports, technical and administrative, etc.). Participants will leave the program with new listening and speaking skills that allow them immediate access to increased effectiveness in expressing their ideas to others, and in resolving issues that arise in everyday life. Finally, participants will have an opportunity to explore the culture of communication and relationship that they have inherited, and invent the underpinnings of the new culture of relating that is more fulfilling. The net effect of the program will be the freedom and capability to develop relationships that are founded in mutuality, and what can be accomplished together. Tuition for this program is $350. Each basic program is two days long. If you have any questions, would like additional information or would like to register for this program, please email us, or call the Contegrity office at (972) 387-9090.
